Wonderful Birthday Weekend

I had a GREAT birthday weekend. Chris did a great job making my time up in KC fun but not to busy!

I couldn't wait for Monday to open my presents.....because he had told me before I came up that there were multiple presents. Very exciting! But then when I got there Chris said I could open them whenever I wanted I, so I actually did the gift thing on Saturday. There was a huge storm and Chris' power went out, so the opening of presents was by candle light. Very romantic.

Chris is so good at getting me things I really want. My early birthday present was the "S" necklace that I already wrote about. On top of that, he got me Season 6 of Grey's Anatomy,

a WGI on Demand DVD with (most) of my favorite Winter Guard shows,

and lots of Reese's!

I was so surprised he knew/remembered so many of my favorite winter guard shows. There were a couple that I know I have only mentioned to him once or twice.....but he knew to put them on there. Such a great boyfriend.

On top of my presents on Saturday, Chris took me to Stroud's on Sunday.....which is this "pan fried chicken" restaurant that he has been telling me about since we started dating. It was beautiful out there....and the food was GREAT. There might have even been an incident with me eating so much gravy it actually grossed out Chris a little.

But here are a few picture from around Stroud's. The swans loved me.....I think the one would have let me pet him, but Chris told me not to.

The last thing on the Birthday list was for Chris to take me to this cupcake place called Cupcake A La Mode. It was AWESOME!!!!

This was actually my SECOND cupcake.....took to-go!

Yeah....it tasted REALLY good!!!

Even Phoebe wanted some.....but it was Chocolate, so she didn't get any.

It was a great weekend and I hated to see it end. But I know I will get one again next year. : )
