Smiling Faces

Why are there so many smiling faces in the 2nd floor work room in the morning? I have decided it is the coffee!

Here at the high school there are rooms where the teachers can get coffee (given by the Roar) because they really don't want us to have coffee makers in our rooms. The 2nd floor work room/copy room is where those of us on the upper level can get our coffee. Most of the time, during the day...there are not very happy faces in that room because our copier tends to jam a lot. But in the morning, the teachers come in very cheerful...waiting their turn to get their coffee.

Sometimes, when I fill up my caffeinated beverage for the morning I think of my mom. I remember when I was a little girl and she was teaching at the Elementary and she would have coffee every morning on her ride, from Rolla, to school and then another cup when we got to school. I guess in this way...I am a great deal like my mom. I'm ok with that : )
